How do I use the Calendar Entry method to submit time?

  1. From the Navigation Panel, under Public Zones, select Time Sheet. The Enter Your Timesheet Submissions is displayed.
  2. The main part of this screen is a blank calendar showing the current week. First, determine which week you wish to enter time for. At the top left of the calendar, you can use the arrow buttons to scroll backwards and forwards through the weeks. Once the correct week is displayed, you can enter your time.
  3. To enter your time, click Add New Submission or double click directly on the calendar at the appropriate date and time. The pop-up modal Edit Your Timesheet Submission is displayed.
  4. Complete the Time fields to show the duration of the entry.
  5. Exact Time Not Specified - check this box if you wish to record a duration of X hours, without start time or end time specified.
  6. Optionally, identify a Time Sheet Attachment from the drop-down list to allocate this time to.
  7. If an attachment is selected, any trackable tasks will appear underneath so that time can be logged against a task.
  8. Use the Comments section to add free text. This may be information about how this time was spent or specific work items relevant. For some projects this is mandatory.
  9. Optionally, use the Tag to tag a colleague or work item to this entry.
  10. Click Create to save your entry or Cancel to discard.
  11. Your entry will be displayed on the calendar.
