The Time Tracker Tool is an aid to tracking time spent on activities without having to manually note them down. You can set the timer when you start an activity, stop it when you complete, and the timings are automatically entered into the Edit Your Time Sheet Submission modal.
- From the Navigation Panel, under Public Zones, select Time Sheet.
- The Enter Your Timesheet Submissions is displayed. Locate the Time Tracker Tool in the top left of the screen.
- Click Start a New Timer.
- The Timer will start tracking time, you can now use this time to work on the relevant work activity.
- When you finish working on this activity click Stop Timer. The date, start, end and duration of the activity will automatically be loaded into the Edit Your Time Sheet Submission modal. You simply need to complete the entry by completing the remaining fields (project name, comments, etc).
- You may also choose to Delete timer at any point. The Timer will stop, and the time will not be recorded.
- Should you leave the Timer running for an extended period of time, Topsail will send you an email reminder to close the timer.
