How do I approve Expense Claims?

Note: If you have Expenses pending to be approved, a reminder will appear on the Dashboard.


  • To access Approvals from the Navigation Panel, under Private Zones, click Approvals.
  • There are three tabs displayed, select the tab for Expenses.
  • The page displayed will list all outstanding approvals awaiting your attention.
  • To review each submission, click on the appropriate line. Your options are to Approve or Deny.
  • If approved, the entry will no longer be shown on the page. The Expense will be included in the next Invoice created for this project.
  • If denied, an email will be sent to the original requestor informing them of the denial. As approver you do not have to give a reason for the denial, but you may wish to do so manually. The requestor must then resubmit, if necessary, a new expense claim.
