How do I approve Timesheets?

Note: If you have Timesheets pending to be approved, a reminder will appear on the Dashboard.


  • To access Approvals from the Navigation Panel, under Private Zones, click Approvals.
  • There are three tabs displayed, select the tab for Timesheets.
  • The page displayed will list all outstanding approvals awaiting your attention.
  • To review each submission, click on the appropriate line. Your options are to Approve, Deny or Edit.
  • In Edit mode you can alter the Chargeability (whether the submission should be submitted to a client), the Duration of the activity and the Comments (you might use this functionality if the Comments contain information not suitable to be shared with the client).
  • You can review each timesheet submission one by one, or you can choose to Approve All and this will approve all entries.
  • If you deny a timesheet, the original requestor will receive an email and the Submission will go back to “Unsubmitted” status for the requestor to resubmit.
  • Once each submission had been approved or denied it will no longer be shown on the Approvals page.
