Expenses Settings

In Expenses Settings you can specify how expenses should be submitted and approved for a new project. 


Follow the instructions Projects: How do I set up a new project?


In the Expenses Settings area: 

  1. 1.    First you need to specify who will approve project expenses. From the dropdown menus you can select from the roles allocated to the project.
    1. Select Line Manager for Internal projects.
    2. Select Project Lead for Client projects.
  2. (For Client projects only) Select if non-Chargeable expenses are allowed. This means that although typically expenses on client projects should be billed to the client, if selected, it will be possible to enter expenses that are not client billable. You may use this feature if research or background training relevant to a project is conducted that is not billable.
  3. (For Internal projects only) Select Allow everyone in the company to report time and expenses to this job if you wish to have this project available to all staff rather than just those selected in the Resource Plan.
  4. Remember to click Save and Finish.
