- From the Navigation Panel, under Public Zones, select Absences and Holidays.
- From the top right of the screen, select Request Absence.
- The pop-up modal Request Your Absence will appear.
- Click Select Absence Date range and select the appropriate dates from the pop-up calendar by clicking once on the absence start date and again on the absence end date.
- If the date duration is only 1 day, the system will allow you to specify a half day (if required) by clicking Absence Date Part and selecting AM, PM, or Full Day as appropriate.
- Click Confirm.
- Click Absence Reason. Select the appropriate answer from the prepopulated list of absence reasons. Note- this list of reasons can be edited in Workspace Management to fit the needs of your team.
- If you wish you can enter some commentary to help inform others of your reasons for absence in the Comments box. This is not mandatory.
- Click Confirm to save (or cancel to exit without saving). Your absence request will be routed to your line manager for approval and will show as an entry on your dashboard under Awaiting Approval.
